TEAM USA:
My whole life I have been driven by my competitiveness, and my love for athletics. Becoming a member of the US Bobsled Team is truly an extraordinary experience and opportunity! I was first introduced to bobsled in 2007 through my college track teammate, Ethan Albrecht-Carrie, who joined the US Bobsled Team after Cornell, and invited me to come up to Lake Placid and try it out. After my first exhilarating trips down the track, I knew I had a new passion to pursue! For 2.5 years I was a brakeman on the US Bobsled Team, made the National Team, and was one of the alternates for the Vancouver Olympics! After this, I decided to switch to the front seat and drive. In 2014, I made my Olympic debut with brakeman, Aja Evans, and we took home the BRONZE MEDAL for Team USA!
AT CORNELL:
I was a member of the Varsity Track and Field Team during my 4 years at Cornell. I competed in the Heptathlon and the Pentathlon. I currently hold multiple school records, including the heptatlon, pentathlon, freshman heptathlon and pentathlon, and the shuttle hurdle relay. I set the Ivy League Meet Record in the Heptathlon at the Outdoor Heptagonal Championships in 2006. I competed in the 2006 NCAA Division I Championships in Sacramento, CA, and finished 13th.
